The internal event team has designed a website on their own, using Squarespace, but they found it to be too bland, without a proper brand identity, not very memorable, nor inspiring. The goal was to create a site with a strong brand identity, and captivating design elements, for it to entice new audiences to attend the event.
After Brand Interviews and a thorough research on my part, explorations of different design options, we have decided to go with a contemporary look, slightly tech font and trendy colours. The 3d shapes were created with a collaboration of a Berlin based artist Lia.
The new website gave Veryl festival a strong brand presence, that will stay with the festival for years to come and keep attracting new audiences to attend the events.
